Yamaha YZF R6S upgrade

My bro has a 2007 Yamaha YZF R6S, he said he wants to upgrade to the 2005 parts. I told him that it's not happening, my bro insisted that it can be done
He wants to swap the bigger throttle body too

I want to hear what's the R6 owners here think about this. Is it a good idea? Is it a direct fit?

You're right to be skeptical.. a 2007 YZF-R6S is a distinct model from the 2005 YZF-R6.
Their minor components might be compatible but a full swap of engine or fuel system parts like the throttle body is highly unlikely to be a direct fit.
Even if you could physically bolt on some parts, the electronics and fuel delivery systems are so different that it would require extensive, custom work.
You might need a standalone ECU and significant fabrication to make it run, let alone perform optimally.
I don't think it's practical
