dampening click issue

the time came to do the fork seals so i thought piece of cake ill follow the repair manual. well i did but now i have a problem. the user manual says there are 30 clicks from soft to hard but im counting a lot more than that. did i asemble something wrong or im looking at a wrong maual?

have you measured Distance b + c before reassembling the cap?

the fork seals are in properly and there's a problem? there might be something you didn't follow from the manual. just test and adjust as needed so long as there are no leaks and there's proper movement on the fork
