Finally, my bike is officially my own. Got the plates for my R6 (I wanted to do custom plates and didn't wanna ride it long distances till then). Anyway, I bought a fender eliminator just in case it's gonna be needed for inspections. But I'm not really sure if it's gonna do something else other than block dirt? What's it gonna do exactly?

Congrats on getting your R6 plated! The fender eliminator is primarily designed to enhance the appearance of your bike and cut down on weight, but it can also help with airflow. Some kits come with LED turn signals and plate lights for extra safety. Just double-check that it's legal where you live

Yeah, a fender eliminator is mostly a cosmetic mod, giving the bike a much cleaner and sportier rear end!
But sure, it will reduce some of the spray from the rear tire..
Whether it's needed for inspection really depends on where you are..
Rules for license plate mounting and lights can vary quite a bit. 👑
