Cowling came loose after coolant flush

Yesterday, I flushed my bike's coolant and today, I took it for a ride to make sure everything was fine, there was no overheating or strange noises. While riding, I felt air hitting my right leg but figured it was just my pants. After getting home, I found my right side cowling hanging loose with a clean, even scrape along the paint. I didn't drop the bike or lean too far, it looked fine during the ride. Any idea how this could happen?

Looks like one of the mounting points or clips might have come loose during the flush or reassembly. check all fasteners and tabs before the next ride

Most likely something got left loose or not fully seated after the coolant flush...often a fairing clip, bolt or lower mount doesn’t get tightened back down properly and works itself free from vibration. At speed, the panel can flex just enough to catch air, then shift and rub, which matches the clean scrape you’re seeing. I’d recheck all the mounting points and any fasteners near the right side radiator area.
