my buddy's got a bit of a head scratcher with his yamaha R6 2017.

He just took off the front wheel to swap out the tire, and the spindle bolt came out super easily, no problem.

But now, he's trying to get that bolt back through, and it's just not going all the way in. He says it's like the lip on the Allen key slot side won't seat properly.

I wanna help him, does anyone here have any ideas or tips you guys might have to get that thing back in?

Its pretty common for the fork legs to misalign after pulling the front wheel, he should loosen the axle pinch bolts on both sides, then try sliding the axle in again, then make sure the wheel spacers are seated correctly, goodluck

If the axle won't seat cleanly after a simple tire swap, it's probably the fork legs aren't aligned properly, and that's a super common mistake. People force the axle or over-torque pinch bolts and end up binding the whole front end
