Was on a chill ride the just yesterday when my buddy noticed that my brake lights flicker on and off. Its all good when I first apply the brakes through half way, but when I hit it full on brake lights wont come on at all. Checked all that I think is connected to it, everything seems fine. Thoughts?

Have you checked the brake light switches, these could be dirty or acting up? A loose wire can be a culprit too! Let us know what you discover, this might be helpful to other forum members

Yeah I actually did check all that, cleaned the whole thing too as I was checking. As mentioned, everything seems fine, no loose wire or anything of the sort. Tricky is a good word for this really.

Is this still a case? Just wondering since it sometimes happen to mine. There are times that it happens really bad like it flickers even if im not applying any brakes and sometimes its like brand new, works like clockwerk.
Yes actually, though I already set an appointment with the dealer next weekend. I will post an update asap.

Intermittent issues are always the trickiest. probably check if there is any wiring issue near the switch or pedal, also check the ground wire

Ih. Off! That's already burnt out and it won't be long before you see that it's not gonna light up anymore.
